What will you learn in the Philippine Drone Network training course?
This comprehensive drone and UAV class for piloting and operatorion is divided into 2 parts:
- The online training lectures is a 1-day class that covers knowledge and theory about the fundamentals of operating remotely piloted aircraft (RPAs) and applications of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Lectures will be hold online in Zoom.
- The face to face hands-on session is a 2-day practical skills session where you can practice flight safety procedures and flight techniques for aerial drones and RPAs. This session will be held at the Playground Skate Camp in Calamba, Laguna (students must secure their own transportation).

Who is this drone training course for?
Drone hobbyists and beginners who want to upgrade their UAV skills and knowledge with formal training. You will be taught all the essential skills and best practices on drone flight techniques and safety procedures, plus how to comply with local rules and regulations to enable you to confidently operate and fly in the Philippines.
Professional or experienced operators of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, and other remotely piloted aircraft (RPAs) who need a refresher course to update their certification with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).

You are required to bring your own drone to the course, or share with another student if you have extra batteries.
What you will get during your training
All training will be provided by Dodeca Drones Inc, a CAAP-certified provider of commercial drone services. Students enrolled in the full course will receive the following from their Dodeca trainers:
- Online lectures on Day 1
- Practical flight maneuvers and operation training on Days 2 & 3
- Training from certified drone operators
- Quick drone guides and documents
- Flight log templates
- Primer on Philippine Civilian Aviation Regulations (PCAR)
- Mock written exams
A formal training certificate will be awarded only to students who complete the full 3-day course.
When is the next training course scheduled?
Each course consists of 3 days of drone training. The next courses will be on:

Online classes run from 9AM – 4PM through Zoom, and each face to face day is from 8AM – 4PM in Calamba, Laguna.

Discounts for early registration are only available until the date specified before each course start date. All other payments for regular and non-discounted fees must be made on or before the start of the drone pilot and operations course.

All online and hands-on training will be provided by certified drone operators and pilots from Dodeca Drones Inc.
Dodeca Drones is certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines as a commercial drone operator. They will also award the formal training certificates to students who complete the full 3-day course.

Lectures are done online via Zoom. Skills training will be done in person in Calamba, Laguna. Students must follow Covid-19 restrictions and secure their own transportation.
No. Only the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) can certify you as a pilot and award an RPAS Controller Certificate.
One of CAAP’s requirements is to complete formal training and submit a certificate from a registered operator. You will be awarded this training certificate by Dodeca Drones Inc. when you complete the 3-day course, but you still need to apply for an RPAS Controller Certificate from the CAAP to be considered a registered drone pilot.
